Brisbane-based production

Local clients, tight deadlines, less freight

If your customer is in Brisbane or South East Queensland, the job doesn't need to travel interstate to be finished. Pakko manufactures in Virginia, ten minutes from the airport and on the northside freight corridor — so sheets can be dropped in, converted, and delivered back or straight to your client without a second leg of freight.

That usually means one less handling stage, one less pallet charge, and a schedule measured in days rather than a week of transit. For ongoing work, we can hold finished stock and release it as your customer needs it.

The trade workflow

One production partner, three simple handoffs

STEP 1

You print

Run the job on your own press, or send us the artwork specification and we will print for you.

STEP 2

Pakko finishes

Celloglazing, laminating, foiling, embossing, die cutting, gluing, one process or the full sequence.

STEP 3

Your customer receives

Packed and delivered white label, collection, your premises, or direct dispatch.

Trade services

Jump straight to the process you need

Celloglazed printed sheets

Celloglazing and Film Lamination

Add protection, scuff resistance and a more refined finish to printed sheets before they move into die cutting and gluing, matt celloglaze, gloss celloglaze, soft-touch and specialty films subject to availability.

Foil stamped detail close up

Foil Stamping

Add metallic, gloss, matt or specialty foil detail to packaging, folders, sleeves and promotional print. New foil artwork may require a custom foil block; existing blocks can be assessed for suitability.

Embossed carton surface

Embossing and Debossing

Create a raised or recessed impression that adds depth and texture without relying only on printed colour, standalone, or combined with foil for a more distinctive result.

Litho sheet laminated to corrugated board

Litho Laminating / Mounting

Combine the print quality of offset lithographic sheets with the strength of corrugated board. Offer high-impact printed corrugated packaging without investing in dedicated laminating and converting equipment.

Die cutting press in production

Die Cutting and Forme Making

Supply your printed sheets and have them accurately die cut, creased, perforated or stripped to the required profile. We can work from an existing forme, assess a forme in our library, or arrange a new cutting forme from an approved dieline.

Folder gluer running cartons

Carton Gluing and Folder Gluing

Turn printed and die cut blanks into clean, production-ready cartons with trade gluing completed by an experienced packaging manufacturer. We can review your dieline before production to flag feeding, folding or glue issues.

Double-sided tape applied to printed mailers

Taping

Apply double-sided tape to mailers, cartons, wobblers and printed materials to support faster assembly and create a neat, consistent finish. Mylar taping is also available for hospital files, medical documents and frequently handled records.

Carton Manufacture, complete job

Need more than one finishing process?

Pakko can take the job from supplied artwork or supplied printed sheets through to completed cartons, one production partner instead of coordinating several separate finishers.

If the print itself sits outside your equipment, we can run that too. Digital, offset and flexo printing, so a job you can't press, oversized sheets, corrugated, a board weight your machine won't take, or simply a run you don't have capacity for can be printed, finished, glued and packed here without you turning the work away.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Do you offer trade-only or white label services?

Yes. Pakko supports printers, brokers and resellers under confidential trade arrangements. Your customer remains your customer, and communication is managed through your business.

Can we supply our own printed sheets?

Yes. You can supply printed stock for die cutting, gluing, litho laminating, foiling, embossing or other agreed finishing work. Sheets must be assessed and booked before delivery.

What information do you need to quote trade finishing?

Quantity, finished size, flat size, stock, printed sheet size, number up, finishing process, artwork or dieline, overs supplied, packing requirements and completion date.

How many overs should we supply?

Depends on the stock, run length, number of processes and complexity. Pakko will confirm the recommended allowance after reviewing the production sequence.

Can you work from our existing cutting forme?

Potentially, we need to inspect the forme, confirm ownership, check its condition and ensure it matches the current artwork and sheet layout.

Can you arrange a new cutting forme?

Yes. A new forme can be manufactured from an approved production dieline. Tooling is quoted separately.

Do you provide trade pricing?

Yes, for approved printers, resellers and industry partners, depending on specification, quantity, material, processes, tooling, packing and delivery.

Will Pakko contact our customer?

No. We work through the trade customer that placed the order and do not independently market to your client.

Can the finished job be delivered directly to our customer?

Yes. White label or blind delivery can be arranged using agreed labels, packing slips and freight instructions.

Can you manufacture the entire packaging job?

Yes, structural design, material, printing, laminating, embellishment, die cutting, gluing, packing and delivery, depending on requirements.

Do you offer short-run trade finishing?

Some processes can accommodate shorter runs; others require tooling or minimum quantities to remain economical. Send us the specification for a recommendation.
