Go For Zero & Pakko - Making a positive difference during unboxing moments
A passion to protect her family from the chemicals and toxins that were flooding into everyday products led Elien Degraeve to establish Go For Zero, a company that supports products and brands that are safe for our planet. “We are a community of like-minded people that are not willing to compromise our health or our planet. We only stock products that are 100% toxin-free, sustainably packaged, and owned by Aussie brands.” Said Ms Degraeve With a focus on online sales and delivery, packaging is an important part of the Go for Zero business model. The team at Go For Zero chose to work with Pakko, their local packaging manufacturer to tailor packaging to reflect their brand values. “From the very start, the team at Pakko took a very personal approach to meeting our needs. We knew immediately they were the right partner for us when the founder came to our warehouse and explained the packaging process.” Said Ms Degraeve Creating custom designed packaging that would meet the Go For Zero sustainability requirements without compromise was a collaborative effort. The goal of creating high quality, sustainable custom packaging was realised through shared honesty, transparency and trust. “The team at Pakko were open, honest and informative. They showed us how we could create quality custom designs that would help us raise our brand awareness while never compromising on our sustainability commitment. We now have packaging that our customers can re-use, we’ve seen our boxes turned into cat toys, potato storers and painting canvases.” Said Ms Degraeve

Customised packaging has been a key factor in raising brand awareness and engaging consumers in the Go For Zero brand message.

“Everyone loves the bold and motivating messages displayed on our boxes and it adds to the feeling of making a positive difference during unboxing moments. Those messages, and our branding live on in repurposed packaging and add to our brand awareness and capture attention when our customers share the boxes on social media.” Said Ms Degraeve.

Pakko is an Australian owned company who are committed to the 2025 Packaging Industry Sustainability Goals. Working with a network of local suppliers and a team of designers and manufacturers at their Geebung facility, Pakko is dedicated to a sustainable manufacturing future.
